Essay: My Helpful Project for the Shelter “ It is impossible for a lover of cats and dogs to banish these alert ,gentle, and discriminating friends who give us just enough of their regard and complaisance to make mud hunger for more.” –Unknown . I hoped that I gave some animals love and food living at the shelter with my service project. For my service project I collected donations and money for the local animal shelter. First, I made flyers on word then printed them out . I needed to collect more than stuff from my family therefore, I decided to put boxes all around my community and at the cheer gym I go to. It was weeks into my service project flyers going out and nobody had donated. Because know body was donating, I decided to go around my street and the people I knew and passed out flyers to them . The next couple days I started getting tons of donations. Then, I knew my community really wanted to participate in this project. When I put a box at my cheer gym somebody threw the box away so I had to make all new flyers and that was very challenging. Next, I was running out of time to get my donations to the shelter. I was so busy doing cheer and everything else that I almost didn't donated the food and toys in time. That was very challenging! I started reminding my mom about my service project and finally I got her to bring me to the shelter. I was so excited that I ran down stairs and started getting everything into the car. I felt so happy that I actually was starting to make a difference. When I got to the shelter I had so much stuff to take in that two workers had to help me. I had to put all the toys and food in a bin but there was nothing in it and then I knew the shelter wasn't doing so well. One of the workers told me that they were very low on wet dog food and cat litter therefore, they were very happy that I had so of that. After I gave them the donating, I went to look at the cats and dogs. Most of the cats were very little and I could not believe how someone could give away such little kittens. Next, I went to the dogs and I saw an adorable golden colored dog and she was cutest dog I have ever seen. We got to play with her outside and she was so energetic and sweet. I felt so bad that she had to stay in such a small space. To conclude am very happy to make a difference at the animal shelter. In conclusion, I learned a lot about my community because of this project and I am very happy that I chose to do this service for my project. I also believe that I reached my goal. I raised $170 and collected some food and soap. 2/10/2017 0 Comments Lesson 2: PLANPart A: Investigate

By writing on clay you r writing would become permanent although by writing on paper your writing can be erased or whited out. 2. After writing my message in cuneiform, I think it would be hard to be a scribe because there is so many symbols. In cuneiform there are 600 symbols and in the alphabet today there are only 26. 3. Somethings a scribe would record is war strategies, king's laws, and the king's trade. 4. Some similar jobs are court reporters. 5. The purpose writing severs in our lives is the ability to communicate without talking to each other. 6. Without the system of writing there would be no way to record anything or communicate without talking. Without writing people would talk to each other more. 7. I do think writting will develop further because a the generations go on people are going to get smarter and smarter.

The eight disciplines are phychology, history, sociology, religon, government, economics, geography, and anthroplogy. The five early homind groups were Austealopithecus Afarensis, Homo Hablilis, Homo Erectus, Homo Sapiens, and Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
